Visual Storyteller, Rock Williams grew up in the impoverished Dallas suburb of Oak Cliff. His childhood was rough, but the hard times helped to shape the visual storyteller.
Working several years in the Texas Music scene and radio, Rock was encouraged to never return to the structure of the "real world". He began with acting. Then climbed into the Writer/Director chair within 4 years, pursuing filmmaking with a passion. His debut film, By Man's Hand, won "Audience Choice for Best Short film" at the BareBones International Film Festival.
Through filmmaking, Rock was introduced to the technical elements of the filmmaking process. Repeatedly drawing his attention, the camera and lighting. For Rock, photography has just been another way to tell a story, to make that real connection.
Rock specializes in portraiture, music photography, and music video production, with his work published by Music Row Magazine, Buddy Lee Magazine, PBS, Lonestar Music Magazine, Texas Highways Magazine, and more.
Each session should be a fun, uplifting experience that leaves you with professional photographs that preserve your personal legacy and a renew your confidence in yourself.
